Multi-Genre Project

As I keep getting further & further into this project, I am finding it more interesting. I have found a lot of great information on Rosa Parks and how she had civil disobedience by not doing what other people wanted her to do. I am sure you all heard the story about how she was sitting in the front of the bus, when only the 'white' people were suppose to be up there, when they asked her to move to the back she refused. That's when everything went downhill.
I found a lot of books from the library and great information from the Internet, hopefully this project will go as great as it seems. :)

Civil Disobedience

Civil Disobedience, is the active, professed refusal to obey certain laws, demands, and commands of a government, or to get international power.  Civil disobedience is mostly nonviolent.  It was first brought about by Egyptians. Civil disobedience is one of the ways people have rebelled against what they think to be unfair laws. Thoreau's 1848 essay named Civil Disobedience, has had a huge influence on many later things of civil disobedience. The main idea behind his essay is that citizens are responsible for their support of aggressors, even when its required by law.
Even though they know they could, and probably would get punished for it, they still attempt to bring changes to the law.  In my opinion, if you believe in something never give up, take a stand until you get it. (:
